Privacy policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

AffiliatePicker is a static, read-only reference site. We collect as little as possible, and this page states exactly what that means — in plain language, because a privacy policy you can't parse isn't transparency.

What we collect

  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no user profiles, emails or passwords.
  • No tracking cookies of our own. The site sets no first-party analytics or advertising cookies.
  • Calculator and comparison inputs stay in your browser. The earnings calculator and comparison tool run entirely client-side. Your traffic numbers, conversion rates and program selections are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records the usual technical minimum — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and capacity purposes. These logs are not used to profile visitors.

Outbound links

Program profiles link to official program pages, and some outbound links may be or become affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site (and its affiliate network) may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy — that's how affiliate attribution works, and it's outside our control. We link every program's official page precisely so you can read those terms yourself. Per our methodology, affiliate relationships never influence scores or rankings.

Email

If you email us (see contact), we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it — for example, a data-correction thread stays on file as part of the verification record for that program. We don't add you to any list, and we don't share your address.

Your rights

Under GDPR, the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and similar regimes, you can request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. In practice, the only such data is email correspondence you sent us. Write to the address on the contact page and we'll action it within 30 days.

Changes

If our data practices ever change — for instance, if we add privacy-respecting analytics or an email newsletter — this page will be updated first, with the date above revised. Material changes will be noted prominently rather than buried.
